Using encoder input the application checks if the motor shaft is rotating. Start mode depends on comparison of the shaft speed to the value of the parameter. Start mode can also be changed using DIB4. This special application based on Closed Loop Fieldbus Application (smf091hg).

Description: The application is based on the Multi-Purpose application in the Vacon "5in1" package. Output torque is limited by controlling the frequency. If the torque is positive and getting too high then output frequency is decreased. If torque is negative the output frequency is increased to lower the torque. In the field weakening area the set torque limit value is internally decreased.
The new value is (FWP / Output Frequency)^2*par.9.1. This function is imitating the break down torque of the motor.

The torque control operation is also possible.
Closed loop speed control mode (P6.1=3) can be used to improve performance near zero speed and to improve static speed accuracy with higher speeds. With this control principle the phase currents are divided into a torque producing current portion and a magnetising current portion. Thus, the squirrel cage induction machine can be controlled like a separately excited DC-motor.

It is possible to select between the I/O-panel frequency reference and the maximum output frequency. This can be changed on the fly.

Description (EN): The 120 V Input Board (CX105OPT) for Vacon CXS frequency converter was developed for customers who desire to use AC instead of DCV for their digital input signal controls.
The board contains:
- 6 digital inputs and
- 1 analogue output.
The special application uses the CX105OPT board instead of the normal control board inside the frequency converter to process the signals. The special application will not function if the CX105OPT board is either missing or broken.
The application based on Standard Application (smf094) and offers the same functions.

This Closed Loop software can not be used with Fieldbuses! If closed loop motor control mode used option board OPT107CX needed. No other option board can be used.

Description: Used by driving the system of one frequency converter and 0-2 network connected control. The current value signal of the level control drives the rpm of the motor by using the parameters in the control range which has been connected to frequency converter. Start and stop limits of the aid drives can be defined as a current value signal points. In a start and stop the rpm is dropped from the values has been set, instantaneously. Application has two control positions in the terminal block. Control position A is a level control and control position B is a frequency control. Control position is validated by DIB6.

Description (EN): The application can be used to control one variable speed drive and 0-4 auxiliary drives. Additionally the motor connected to the frequency converter and the start order of the auxiliary drives can be changed with the autochange function and external relay system. The PI-controller of the frequency converter controls the speed of the variable speed drive and gives control signals to Start and Stop auxiliary drives to control the total flow. The application has two control sources on I/O terminals. Source A is Pump and fan control and source B is direct frequency reference. The control source is selected with DIB6 input.

Description: The Position Control can handle up to 32 positions. The positions are activated with the help of the 5 digital inputs from the option board.
The positions are programmed either directly by setting the corresponding parameters or by running to the shaft manually to the positions.
The positions are stored for the power off situation. The position needs to be calibrated after the power on. The shaft has to be driven to the calibration location manually.
The calibration is done in the home location or in one of the positioning locations. The position is based on a pulse information of the incremental encoder.
The encoder can be on the machine shaft or on the motor shaft. The whole length of the movement is limited to 65535 pulses.
[EF] EASY SYNCHRONIZATION APPLICATION (smc155)

Description (EN): This application is suitable e.g. for synchronizing conveyor belts and conveyors as well as for isolating parts upon transition from one conveyor to another, and similar needs.
One frequency converter is the master and the other is the slave. All frequency converters follow the same speed reference, and slaves are counting pulses (<50 Hz) from the shaft for the speed correction (1%). The speed reference is chained with a mA signal from drive to drive. The pulse sensor is of a simple proximity type, giving 1 pulse/round.
Parts: two or more Vacons and two or more proximity switches (24V DC). Accuracy can be +-2 pulses during the START/STOP and +- 1 pulse during RUN.
[DS] LIFT APPLICATION SOFTWARE (smc126)
Decription: Special application for lifts.
Application can be used in open and in closed loop motor control mode.
- A parameter group dedicated for mechanical brake control is included.
- Speed reference creation methods specially designed for easy fitting to lift control logics.
- "Identification run" for open and closed loop motor parameters.
- In the application constant speeds are presentend in [m/s], acceleration, deceleration are presented in [m/s2] instead of ramp times [s]. Jerks are defined in [s].
- If closed loop motor control mode is used the option board OPT107CX is needed. No other boards can be used with this application.
- If running in closed loop, encoder should have precision at minimum 1000 pulses/revision. 5000 pulses/revision is the highest accuracy for the encoder. Encoder with 2000 pulses/revision recommended. Above stated is valid with "1500 rpm motor".
